ARLINGTON, Va. – Nov. 17, 2011 – Opower, the energy efficiency software company, today announced that Thomas Kramer has been appointed as the company’s chief financial officer. Mr. Kramer is a widely recognized industry leader, and was recently named one of the top 10 CFOs in Washington, DC by SmartCEO Magazine. He will help lead Opower as it continues its rapid growth, having recently doubled its headcount and expanded its business internationally.

“Thomas’ experience leading a technology startup, combined with his knowledge and background in corporate finance, eCommerce and management strategy, are a perfect fit for Opower and couldn’t come at a better time,” said Dan Yates, co-founder and CEO of Opower. “As Opower continues to expand, Thomas will be invaluable in leading our financial strategy and growth.”
